DAVID QIAN - ASIAN HERITAGE FOR CONTEMPORARY INTE

During my visit at Decorex this year I came across the work of the artist  David Qian, a reminiscence of the ancient art of hand-painted Chinese wallpaper and furniture -  which came into fashion the 17th century in Europe and has been highly sought after since, being adapted to the European taste in the form of the Chinoiserie style. 

The artist uses fabric and resin finishes to create beautiful, custom-made hand-painted and embroidered wall coverings and exquisite designs for today’s luxury interiors market.
